The conference brought together Australian-wide regulatory bodies, industry professionals and academics to discuss workplace health and safety issues and to share ideas, strategies and best-practices for a healthier, safer work environment.
David Turner shared his extensive workplace risk, safety and human behavioral knowledge and expertise to an interactive roundtable session exploring issues, challenges and solutions around three topics: 1. Changing nature and evolution of safety, 2. Resourcing safety and 3. Using wellness to enhance ROI.

More than 4,500 security industry professionals from Australia and as far as The Netherlands converged on the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre for the 29th annual Security Exhibition and Conference last week – making it the most successful event in its history.
Presenting “Risky environment ... calls for a new risk direction”, David Turner educated and informed attendees on Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED), risk management, security, planning for and managing different human behavior’s, and what businesses and organizations can do to improve security practices and mitigate risk.

David Turner developed and presented workshops for the Department of Housing and Works Western Australia. These workshops were exciting and dynamic interactive presentations to enable risk understanding through the latest safety measures and legislation.
In addition, David was asked to present these workshops throughout the state of WA and presented to various clients in Albany, Northam, Bunbury, Port Hedland, Broome, Kalgoorlie and Geraldton.
